Asthma UK MUR Pack-delivered in error
Asthma UK has recently sent out an Asthma MUR Support Pack. It has been sent to some Scottish Pharmacies in error.
The pack relates to service delivery in England and should therefore not be used in Scotland.

Minor Ailment Audit starts in 3 days on Monday the 24th November Contract Preparation Payments Element/Strand C Information to be collected for the audit using this excel spreadsheet The audit form once completed should be sent either electronically to mas.survey@communitypharmacyscotland.org.uk or by post to MAS Survey Community Pharmacy Scotland, 42 Queen Street, Edinburgh EH2 3HN. To claim the payment of £450 after the audit single outlet contractors should complete Annex C-Element/Strand C form and either fax, post or email to PSD. Multiple contractors wishing to claim centrally should complete Annex H-Element/Strand C form and either fax, post or email to PSD. |

This Circular PCA (P) (2008) 22 draws the attention of NHS Boards and Community Pharmacy Contractors to an amendment to the Drug Tariff in respect of the discount clawback rate for Pt 7 items. To compensate for the effect of lower Pt 7 prices from Oct 2008 on contractors the discount clawback rate is accordingly being reset to 1% in respect of dispensings from the 1 October 2008 onwards until further notice. The SG policy intention is to maintain contractor income this year pending further negotiations following completion of a community pharmacy cost of service enquiry which is currently underway. |
